About Hendersonville, NC

Hendersonville is a small, historic town about 30 minutes South of Asheville. Unfortunately, Hendersonville is no longer the inexpensive town that it used to be, but only because it is such a small-town gem. The Historic downtown area is adorable and full of things to do. Here you can take your family planning for gems at Elijah Mountain Gem mine, tour Carl Sandburg’s, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, house, do a corn maze at Grandad’s Apples and Such farm, and take a hike in the DuPont State Recreational Forest (fun fact, some of the Hunger Games movies was filmed here), See the view from Jump Off Rock, or test your skills that the Appalachian Pinball Museum. If you’re looking for a small-town atmosphere with outdoor and family activities, Hendersonville is the place for you.
