About Fletcher, NC
Fletcher is a quaint small-town 20 minutes South of Asheville. The real estate prices here are slightly more affordable, however, the proximity to the airport as well as downtown is fantastic. There isn’t a large downtown area in Fletcher per se, but there’s no shortage of things to do. Pop into Blue Ghost, a fun local brewery that hosts a bluegrass jam and multiple nights of live music weekly, or if you want a more informal music venue, check out Feed & Seed. If you like shopping, stop by Smiley’s Flea Market, Garage on 25th (plus artisans, vendors, a coffee shop with a local roaster, and baked goods), or Books for Good in the downtown area. You can also take a family golf trip at Broadmoor Golf Club.
