About the River Arts District in Asheville, NC
River Arts District is one of our personal favorites as well as one of the most popular for tourists in and around Asheville. Here there are ample places to grab a quick bite or drink and relax by the river. Our personal favorites include Smoky Park Supper Club; a restaurant on the river made entirely of shipping containers, White Duck Taco, and our friendly counter-service taco shop where you can go with a big group of friends or your children for a quick bite. Zillacoah Brewery; here they have a Mexican food truck, a huge expanse along the river, great brews, and a bluegrass jam every other Sunday. Ginger’s Revenge is located a little off the river but houses some of the best alcoholic ginger beers we’ve had. The Wedge is the most popular brewery in Asheville next to Bottle Riot, a tapas and wine bar, and Bull and the Beggar where you can get a great dinner and charcuterie. Houses in this area will be at a premium, lots a little smaller and on hilly, sloping land overlooking the river, but if you’re moving to Asheville, this is one of the hottest Asheville markets there is.
