My name is Dan Kent and I moved to Buncombe County in 2010 with my wonderful wife. But these mountains are by no means new to me. I have had the honor of calling the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina home since birth! I am a true Appalachian native, born not more than two hours west of Asheville with a family line that goes back many generations in these mountains and hollers. And now as I approach midlife, I am a proud family man, raising two sweet children in the beautiful rolling hills of Alexander, NC.
With the exception of poison ivy, I love everything about the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether hiking, camping, birding, watching sunrises and sunsets, or simply driving along some of these incredibly beautiful rural roads, I always enjoy being in and around the Buncombe County community.
I am a US Army Veteran, and my time served took me to many different landscapes, climates, and cultures, nationally and internationally; but the lush mountains of Western NC kept calling me back. Although I still very much love traveling, this will always be home. Other enjoyments for me are: music, live theater/improv, and going out to eat in the vibrant and ever-growing city of Asheville, Marshall, or some of the surrounding mountain towns.
I enjoy connecting with people and cultivating a relationship with my clients, where I can use my expertise to guide them through the journey of purchasing or selling their home. Whether you’re new to the area, or have been around these parts for generations, I’m here as your professional, local NC licensed Realtor. Give me a call today, I’d love to chat about possibilities!
